grrr part 2.

so today in tusoni grande (normally my favorite place to go) we pretty much didnt nothing. the kids were acting up worst than normal. they normally run away from us when we get their but after a few mins. normally they warm up to us . today they just didnt want to do anything... i would ask them to do this or that and they would all reply no. im not one to get mad at little kids...mostly cuz their kids but they just acted as if they didnt know us. normally theirs a group of boys who play with us and do all sort of stuff with us but even they were being really weird.

i know God is still incontrol but its just so hard to have to bad days in a row after having such a good week.
pray for the leadership retreat were having for the peruvians next month.(ask God to provide for peoples hearts to be moved to come and for funds to be provided for them to come.)
pray for the kids in tusoni chico that they might remember everything we have taught them
pray for austins health hes been kinda sick alot lately.
pray from me to have a peace during this madness.

love peace and grace
Jorge

Awesome posts lately and I love the pictures especially the ones of Lampas' birthday.

Kids can be strange creatures at times. You never know how they will react one day to the next. Perhaps they heard some adults talking and it spooked them a bit. Give it time and keep up the good word.

If you get some visitors over the next few days that tell you EHT sent them remember it's me....Lisa Cooper. :) I'm going to put up a couple of links at my other sites so others can enjoy your journey as well.

Sending prayers your way. :)

Jorge,
Ya'll are doing a GREAT job. Don't get down about it. GOd will see you through it. I KNOW how kids can be. They like to try you and see what you can handle and how far they can push you. Pray about it and try again. You can break through their silliness and playfulness, just let God guide you. We are praying for you both constantly. I hope you can feel all the prayers that are being said for you 2. HANG IN THERE

I know that is discouraging and difficult at times. Just be faithful! Remember all the people who never gave up on you and loved you even when it was difficult.  Remember that God did not call you to Peru to save anyone. You are called there to be obedient and share with them what Christ has done for you. You can’t make them do what you want them to. Wouldn’t mission be easier if you could?  So many people here love you, and are praying for you, and are inspired by you. You have no idea what kind of a difference you are making!!! Love them all… and focus your energy on the people and places that are most receptive!

2 Timothy 2:13 says, “If we are faithless. He remains faithful, He cannot deny Himself.” By very nature He is faithful! Live in what you know, not how you feel. 

Savor EVERY single moment in Nazca and let your soul be renewed! It will be so fabulous!

I love you! You can call me if you need to talk. You know that there is a phone right by the theater. You can buy cards in Juliaca that you can use at it.

Hey Boy,
Sorry to hear that you are having money woes...You know mom would love a phone call if you could...(Translation call home if only for a minute, call mom's cellphone) Anyways, I'll try to send you a couple bucks but I don't get paid till Monday.....Now don't get all upset and down in the dumps over things not going as you would like, sometimes it be that way. Just remember it takes time to change people and being persistant will pay off.
Love
